All you ‘convicts’ who love FootBall….this is the movie you MUST watch. I saw this on a weekday to refresh myself during the week and boy it did a great job.
Its about this X-QuarterBack (Adam Sandler) who has been expelled from NFL for throwing away a game. He is now with his girlfriend (Courtney Cox – Monica from Friends) who treats him like she owns him. Sandler gets arrested for DUI, wrecking his girlfriend’s car after getting all drunk and is taken to a prison in Texas where he has to prepare a football team of convicts to play the guards.
A challenge for him to get the convicts to play, he gives them a motivation…they get to beat up and get back at the guards during the game. The toughest convicts team up for one objective – BEAT UP THE GUARDS. I couldn’t believe the size of some of them, they were huge. He prepares the team for the game along with Chris Rock and Burt Reynolds. Chris Rock is hilarious. Will the team beat the guards or will they be let down by Adam Sandler who threw away a game for his team 7 years ago.

I’m not a convict, but I love football. Since you proclaim the remake to be just as good as the original, I’ll go see and let you know if I agree…..
