Funny and light animated entertainment. Its about these animals in the NY zoo who have never seen the outside world and when they do they realize how tough it is out there. The movie has a Zebra (v.o. Chris Rock), a Lion, a Hippo, a Giraffe and last but not the least the evil penguins. The Zebra is very enthusiastic about seeing the world, the lion is happy where he is as he is the most popular in that zoo and the giraffe(v.o. David Schwimmer – Ross from Friends) is a health freak. The best line in the movie that I really liked was when this squirrel (who claims himself to be the king of a small group of animals) tries to be cool and says, “See You Later Crocodile” instead of “See You Later Aligator”.
I came across families in the theatre who had already seen the movie 2 or 3 times. That was a bit annoying because the kids would repeat the dialogues, some of them would laugh before the funny scenes making the scenes no longer funny….and some of the mom’s were equal to the task.
But as a whole its a good family movie. Go Watch It.
….”I Like To Move It Move It….I Like To Move It Move It….I Like To Move It Move It….I Like To…Move It” — You’ll know what I am talking about once you see the movie.
