The Mystery of the Bermuda Triangle (Can Science Solve) - Chris Oxlade
A very good book for beginners who want to know all about the Bermuda Triangle. The book has a thin soft cover book with large font print; looks and is a 'children's story' book. But don't judge the book by its cover (as the wise saying quotes)
I never could have imagined there were so many theories behind the Bermuda Triangle mystery. Some of them appear as myths ofcouse, others look scientifically convincing.
I was particularly impressed by the 'methane gas bubble theory' which you should read to understand what it exactly is. To make it short in one line it is a giant gas bubble in the ocean that swollows the sea boats and airplanes which have been reported missing in the Bermuda triangle region of the Atlantic Ocean. But that doesn't explain some of the missing crew stories; I think at that instance it was the crew abandoning the ship as opposed to the general opinion of a UFO abduction.
The book also explains that there are not only different versions of the reason for the strange events but also different versions of the area covered by the bermuda triangle.
All this and everything a beginner would ever want to know about the Bermuda Triangle is explained in this approximately 20 page book.
