Grandness everywhere. Loved the opening sequence Poseidon theme by Klaus Badelt.

The story is almost the same as the original Poseidon adventure, only with a lot more CGI. The end was a little different too. I also watched the special features DVD and it seems the cast did most of the stunts on their own (great job guys).

I feel the rogue wave’s approach could have been more dramatic. The sets aboard the ship were absolutely marvellous. This is supposed to be Wolfgang Petersen’s hattrick of sea disaster movies, others being Boot, Das and The Pefect Storm. Kudos to another great direction.

Its just a basic story of survival for the passengers aboard the Poseidon, trying to make it to the bottom of the upside down ship which is the only part above he oean water. Will they make it safely out. To find out watch Poseidon.

This is a DVD flick according to me, not really the theatre kind. My 3 out of 5 stars for this one.
