Crash

You have to see “CRASH”; this movie raw, gritty, real, depressing and ripe with racism. If you are big on the “happily-ever-after” endings, then this is definitely NOT the movie for you!
There isn’t just one main character in this film; instead, you are given snippets of each character’s personality and their interaction with others, which gives the viewer some insight into this person’s world. All characters are three dimensional and, unbeknownst to them, they’re linked together through a common factor/event. They’re all presented with these situations that can “make or break” them. What they inevitably decide to do to handle and/or rectify these situations, is what makes the movie so amazingly great. No one character is the hero/villain. Instead, each character possesses both qualities, thus, making this movie all the more real.
Again, a MUST see…..

So I finally saw CRASH…and Kisha and David are both right; It is a MUST SEE. Very beautifully written. This movie will definately change the way you think about people around you. It made me realize that at times it isn’t people who are bothering me, it’s just ME. I might not be satisfied with my actions, but I am venting out that lava of anger on the people around me. I also realized how a rash action taken on your part in anger may destroy / change someone else’s life, even though you didn’t mean to harm them.
Everyone should watch this movie…if you don’t like theatres rent the DVD, you won’t regret it I promise.

Sorry to detract from the crowd but this movie is soooo overrated. It’s contrived and boring and I actually don’t care about any of the characters. It took itself so seriously and the acting was poor. Sandra Bullock was a bad fit for the part. I think Sarah Silverman would have played racist much better.
