Crash

You have to see “CRASH”; this movie raw, gritty, real, depressing and ripe with racism. If you are big on the “happily-ever-after” endings, then this is definitely NOT the movie for you!

There isn’t just one main character in this film; instead, you are given snippets of each character’s personality and their interaction with others, which gives the viewer some insight into this person’s world. All characters are three dimensional and, unbeknownst to them, they’re linked together through a common factor/event. They’re all presented with these situations that can “make or break” them. What they inevitably decide to do to handle and/or rectify these situations, is what makes the movie so amazingly great. No one character is the hero/villain. Instead, each character possesses both qualities, thus, making this movie all the more real.

Again, a MUST see…..

Kicking And Screaming

Great Family Movie. Will Ferrell has done a great job at playing a clumsy sportsman and you almost hate him at the end when he adds attitude to his clumsiness.
Its about this guy (Will Ferrell) who has a sports loving dad, but he can’t live up to his dad’s expectations as a good sportsman. The father remarries at the same time as his son and Co-Incidently (the only stupid part of the movie) they both have sons on the same day. As the kids are growing they play soccer for the Gladiator’s, coached by Will Ferrell’s dad, and the grandson is always benched for the obvious reason that he doesn’t play well.
Will Ferrell thinks that playing at that age should only be about fun. But his dad thinks otherwise and so he trades his grandson to the Tigers (ranked last) in the soccer league.
Ferrell doesn’t like this, cause it makes him relive his childhood, so he decides to coach the Tigers. So starts the rollercoaster ride of coaching the kids and how he undergoes changes in his attitude towards the game to want to win as opposed to play for fun.
Must watch…especially for my Italian friends, you’ll know why ;-) .
Do post comments as and when you guys watch it.

House Of Wax

Disappointment as a horror movie. Not good at all. Infact it was so bad that my collegue Josh wanted his money back, not from the movie makers, but from me because I suggested we go see that movie. Sorry Josh :-D !!
But I have to mention that Paris Hilton did a great job at dying in the movie (sharp edged stick penetrating right through her forehead).
Don’t bother to watch this one even on DVD. You’d rather watch my personal favorite SAW.
I did catch a couple of good new horror movie trailers. Dark Water *ing Jennifer Connelly comes out July,8 2005. The Cave comes out August 26, 2005.
I hope they are not a disappointment like House Of Wax.
